Paragon Deployment Manager can be also used to control software and system configuration on the student PCs which are used in the classes, equipped with PCs. Most relevant task which IT class holders face is how to quickly change (or restore) the student PCs configuration in a short time between two classes. Deployment Manager can solve this problem in the following way: OS deployment
  • Teacher have Deployment Console and Infrastructure server installed on its PC.
  • He also has all prototype images of the system configurations he needs.
  • Before classes, he boots all student computers with 'Boot from LAN' options or with bootable CDs and start previously prepared Deployment Sessions through Deployment Console.
  • Infrastructure Server identifies Student PCs by MAC address and deploys predefined image. Knowing MAC address one can deploy different configurations to different computers. This is useful in situation where it is needed to deploy different software on different PCs for learning purposes.
